Upcoming KTM 390 Adventure Spotted on the Streets!

The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure was spotted testing yet again. The side view uncovers key features of the motorcycle.

Upcoming KTM 390 Adventure Spotted on the Streets

The overall design of the bike is more in line with the rest of the Adventure line up from KTM. A rally style front beak, sleeker side fairing and single piece seat come together neatly. A headlight unit similar to the one found on the larger KTM 990 Duke completes the cohesive design. The new 390 Adventure is equipped with a bash plate while its naked counterpart isn’t.

Although the frame is borrowed from the one on the new Duke, a revised subframe on the Adv 390 is longer to aid pillion comfort and offer more room to mount luggage. The new Adv 390 rides on 19- and 17-inch front and rear rims, respectively along with off road biased tires just like its predecessor. The adjustability of the front USD and rear monoshock is expected to be carried forward too.

The 2025 Adventure also borrows the LC4 398.63cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, DOHC engine from the 2024 Duke that makes 45.3BHP @ 8500rpm and 39Nm @6500rpm. A mild change in the gearing or size of the sprocket can be expected to better suit its purpose. And, as with its predecessor, it appears the new 390 Adv will also be available in a spoked wheel version.

The current pricing of the Adventure 390 ranges from ₹3,39,467 to ₹3,60,880. We don’t expect the price to go up by much, similar to the 390 Duke. The upcoming Adv 390 has its work cut out with competitors like the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 and Triumph Scrambler 400X entering this segment. It will also go up against the upcoming Hero 400 Adv and hopefully, an Aprilia Tuareg 457.
