Bajaj Auto has announced a price cut of ₹18,000 on the KTM 390 Duke, bringing its price down to ₹2.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It was previously priced at ₹3.13 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Mind you, this is not a limited-time discount but a permanent price cut.
The new price tag makes the KTM 390 Duke the most powerful sub-₹3 lakh bike and even more accessible to everyone. It’s now almost on par with the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, which goes for ₹2.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This reduction is likely to combat the recent Yamaha MT-03 price cut and the upcoming Aprilia Tuono 457, which is rumoured to go for ₹4 lakh.
The KTM 390 Duke is a fun little machine with a feisty 399cc single-cylinder engine that pumps out 46 hp and 39 Nm of torque. Plus, it’s got all the bells and whistles you’d expect at this price point, including adjustable suspension, bidirectional quickshifter, cornering ABS, and more. And with the new price tag, the little Duke becomes all the more tempting!
