The 390 Adventure test mule seems to remain unchanged from the previous times it was spotted. The 390 Enduro however gets a lighter front end, both visually and literally due to the lack of a windscreen and the Dakar inspired fairing on the Adv. A smaller LED headlight, higher handlebars and a slimmer single piece seat are present on the Enduro too. Over at the rear, the grab handles have been left out in favour of the Enduro theme while there are split units present on the 390 Adv.

Larger 21-inch front and 18-inch rear, spoked rims arm the Enduro 390 with higher ground clearance and more ability to tackle the rough stuff. Patterns of chunkier blocks on the Enduro’s tyres compared to the dual purpose tyres on the Adventure differentiate them further. Whether these rims will be cursed with tubes is yet to be known.

What remains identical between the two variants are engines, with the same 399cc, liquid-cooled single from the Duke generating 45.3bhp and 39Nm. Both the test bikes were also seen equipped with a bash plate and saree guard.

The 390 Enduro currently has no direct rivals other than the Rally edition Himalayan 452 from Royal Enfield. The 390 Adventure however has rivals of its own in the BMW G 310GS, RE Himalayan 452 and possibly a Versys-X 300. We expect the 390 Enduro to command a slight premium for its additional capability at around 3.7-3.8 lakh (Ex-showroom) with the 390 Adventure at the 3.5 lakh mark.
